For the first time in Romania, DUTON PLAST put into practice the idea of manufacturing thermoformed OPS (biorinted polystyrene) containers for the food industry. The OPS products, indesputably brighter, more transparent, odourless, chlorine free and so having no emissions of dangerous residues when scrapped. Thanks to its own technical department, studying and projecting new moulds, DUTON PLAST meets the customers.

Continuing its policy of innovation in 2001 DUTON PLAST further increased its presence on the Romanian plastic packaging market by acquiring an EPS (expanded polystyrene) injection line for obtaining EPS packaging for food industry. Relevant characteristics for EPS packaging are lightness, shock absorbtion, a high degree of thermal insulation and suitability for food contact.
